On September 25, 2026, Iowa State University’s Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering Department welcomed Hillary back to campus and inducted her as a Distinguished Alumna. Hillary has a BSCE (’97), MSCE (’04), and PhD (’11) from Iowa State University in Civil Engineering.
Hillary has spent her 30 career making roads safer for everyone through research, real-world deployment, and mentoring the next generation of transportation engineers. Her data-driven solutions are helping people and communities across the country get home safely.
