Gallatin County Big Sky Transportation District

The purpose of the project is to provide support for the development of a Request For Proposal (RFP) for transportation services (buses and their operation) for the District, in addition to a survey of clients who utilize the services of the District.

The Western Transportation Institute was contacted by the Gallatin County Big Sky Transportation District to assist in writing a Request for Proposals for obtaining equipment and services to operate the District’s Snow Express service. The District utilizes the Snow Express as a general public transportation service during the ski season at the Big Sky Ski and Summer Resort.In order to identify any modifications that may be necessary to the service, the Western Transportation Institute also conducted a survey of passengers and non-passengers of the Snow Express system.
