Objective
The purpose of this project is to assist the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) in creating documents for the Emergency Response Framework.
Abstract
Every state was tasked with creating a statewide Emergency Response Framework (ERF) and the subsequent 15 ESF Annexes. Montana’s Disaster and Emergency Services (DES) is the lead agency for Montana completing this work. DES and the other Montana support organizations completed their ERF in 2012 and have been working on the supporting ESF annexes since then. MDT was assigned to complete ESF #1 and ESF #3. The purpose of this work is to assist the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) in creating the Emergency Support Function (ESF) #1 (transportation annex) and #3 (public works and engineering annex) documents that have been assigned as their responsibility.
