ODOT Region 1 ITS Implementation & Operations Plan
Started: December, 2004 Ended: April, 2005 Project ID #4W0291 Status: Completed
Objective
To develop Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) plans for rural state highways and urban arterial state highways and incorporate these into an updated version of the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Region 1 ITS Implementation and Operations Plan.
Abstract
The existing ITS Implementation Operations Plan for Region 1 of the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) lists detailed information about ITS devices and facilities on urban and rural highways. However, the plan is now nearly five years old. A team of contractors, researchers and facilitators have contracted with ODOT to develop a current ITS plan and incorporate these plans into an updated version of ODOT Region One’s “Intelligent Transportation System Implementation and Operations Plan.”
