The project team will conduct outreach to stakeholders such as residents, businesses, local governments, and other stakeholders to understand the mobility needs in the region’s underserved communities related to inter-community connections. The project team will also provide recommendations and information on planning to meet those needs, project development, and project implementation, along with rural economic development training.
This project will work with the Yankton Sioux Tribe/Nation to improve their mobility and the public transportation on the Yankton Sioux Reservation and to nearby communities.
Benefits: This project will improve the mobility of citizens of the Yankton Sioux Nation both within the Reservation and between the Reservation and nearby communities
